We're seeking a future team member for the role ofVice President technology Control Management I to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pune, MAHARASHTRA , Hybrid.

Within this role, you will be part of the 1st line of defense team responsible for supporting, strengthening, and executing the Engineering control management strategy and framework relevant to the Firm's Asia Pacific (APAC) business lines and corporate functions. You will be part of a global team of Engineering Control professionals, and will have the opportunity to help drive the quality and consistency of Engineering's engagements with APAC regulators and auditors. You will also act as one of the point of contact and liaison for technology regulators and auditors in APAC, and help ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. These will include helping to develop strategic or tactical approaches, and providing guidance on the identification, assessment, monitoring, remediation, and reporting of Engineering control related topics. Furthermore, you will also have the opportunity to help drive the continuous improvement and enhancement of the Engineering control management processes and systems to foster a strong risk culture and awareness within the Firm.

In this role you will:
Support and execute the Engineering control management strategy in alignment with the Firm's policies and risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
Help drive the quality and consistency of Engineering's interactions with its APAC regulators and auditors.
Identify correct Engineering stakeholders, and coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of required information and supporting evidence for regulators and auditors.
Interface closely with stakeholders outside of Engineering (e.g., Legal, 2LOD, Audit, Compliance, Enterprise Sourcing Office, Office of Regulatory Relations, and Enterprise Resiliency Office, etc.) to ensure consistent and transparent regulatory and audit responses. 
Develop, in consultation with Engineering stakeholders, management responses and remediation plans to address deficiencies, and track / review remediation progress
Analyze the latest developments and changes in the regulatory and compliance landscape in the APAC region relevant to Engineering, and assess the impact and implications for the Firm (e.g. future areas of focus / thematic risk, etc.)
Support the continuous improvement, enhancement and execution of Engineering control management processes, systems, and related trainings to help foster strong risk culture and awareness within the Firm.
Support and/or lead monitoring and reporting of key technology risk indicators, issues, and incidents, and escalate as appropriate.
Support and/or lead risk assessments and reviews of technology processes, systems, and controls, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Help provide guidance and advice to the senior management, business units, and Engineering functions on Engineering related control topics. 

Experience and Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, IT security, or IT governance, or similar related fields within the financial services industry
Extensive experience in dealing with technology regulators and auditors relevant to APAC regulations, and in-depth knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations, such as MAS TRMG, APRA CPS234, HKMA TM-E1, etc., are essential.
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technology risk management frameworks, methodologies, and standards, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in written and spoken English (Advantageous if the candidate understands another Asian language – e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) 
Certifications in technology risk management, IT audit, IT security, or IT governance, such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CGEIT, etc., will be advantageous.
Bachelor or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
