We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice Presidentto join our USPayroll team. This role is located in Pune- India.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Should have extensive US payroll tax experience,
Should be able to work on Balance sheet and payroll reconciliations including research and processing of the necessary corrections in the payroll system
Should have vast experience in doing 401k processing, new hire reporting, payroll disbursements,
Handling US payroll tax employee queries
Initiating fundings which includes payroll funding, garnishment funding, 401 k funding, commuter benefits, 401k forfeitures, HAS fundings, EFT verifications
US payroll journal posting and invoice submissions
Assists with the implementation of US payroll policies and procedures that comply with all laws, policies and regulations within the country or region.
Knowledge of US payroll taxation.
May analyze payroll processes to suggest improvements.
With direct supervision, may contribute to special projects.
Ensures that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties including regulatory and taxing bodies are in compliance with country and/or regional law.
Confirms the implementation procedure with more senior professionals.
Supports the development of accounting schedules and contributes to data gathering in support of system efficiencies analyses.
Completes assigned audit tasks as needed
Flexible to work in evening/night shifts – US time zone.
What you'll need:
Proficiency in MS Office (excel, word and ppt in particular).
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
10-15 years of total US payroll tax work experience is preferred.
Degree in Accounting/Commerce is preferred.
