Job Description
• Reviews all types of US individual income tax returns
• Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge
• Manages the engagement team. Sets performance measurements and ensures that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time, and quality targets are met
• Identifies and leads new services that the service line can perform at the VVN
• Develops, mentors, and supervises Associates and Specialists.
• Demonstrates leadership and executive presence
• Communicates progress and project status to all stakeholders.
• Understands company policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines, and knowledge sharing
• Adheres to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Qualifications
• Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA
• A US CPA or Enrolled Agent is preferable
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound technical knowledge concerning US Individual taxes (Form 1040)
• Should have experience reviewing US Tax Returns (Form 1040) for at least 12-18 months
• Should have prior experience interacting with foreign offices and assignees
