The Electrical Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development of components, small systems, quality systems, processes or materials.
This role in summary
Responsible for Design development and validation of HW control boards
for Home appliances while collaborating with a cross functional team. participating in HW design reviews.

Job Details-
- Expertise in Analog and Digital Circuit design - experience with OpAmps, Filters, Signal conditioning circuits,
Power supply design (AC-DC, DC-DC), mixed signal design
? Hands on experience with 16/32 bit microcontrollers selection, design and validation.
? Communication protocols - SPI, I2C, UART and memory interfacing of Flash, EEPROM
? Actively Participate on Technical Design Reviews to ensure Project is delivering per architecture
? Capable of proper use of Whirlpool processes and tools for timely project delivery.
? demonstrate effective use of Design for Six Sigma methodologies (DFMA, etc) including design for reliability with
HALT testing.
? Design for EMI/EMC and certification experience including troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues.
? single point of contact for cross functional engineering team for product specific hardware development.
TECHNICAL
1.Hands on experience on Pspice, Cadence, Mathcad is preferred.
2. Experience in AC/ DC mixed signal design and validation.
3. Experience in Power supply design and testing.
4. FMEA, A3, 8D, DVP&R,DFA, DFR tool exposure
5. design experience for especially 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers based applications.
6. Exposure to I2c, SPI, USB, UART communication protocol.
7. Actively Participate in Technical Design Reviews to ensure Project is delivering per architecture.
8. Experience with Design for Six Sigma methodologies(DFMA, etc) including design for reliability with HALT testing.
9. Hands of experience in EMI EMC troubleshooting and certification.
10. Hands-on with Peripheral interfaces like RS232, RS485,UART, USART, Ethernet and USB.
11. Exposure to International Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC,FDA, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc. will be preferred.
12. Proficient in Component Selection, De-rating analysis.
