What we're looking for
We are looking for a curious, versatile and adaptable regional Senior People Partner to work in a dual role collaborating with local leadership within our technical organizations and supporting HR operations for the Bengaluru office. You will partner directly with our VP, Engineering and local managers to execute on and influence HR programs, policies and operations. You will also serve as the HR point of contact for local employees, providing guidance and support on benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, performance management and local policies. You will be a trusted coach and advisor who will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organization to contribute to a culture that attracts and enables world class talent to do their best work.
What you'll be working on
Build a deep understanding of the strategies and priorities of our Engineering and Product organizations
Partner with local leaders and managers to provide coaching with a focus on organization design, engagement strategies, building development plans for high potential talent, and proactive workforce planning.
Provide guidance to leaders on performance management, compensation and promotion decisions. Share recommendations based on data, organizational need, and business objectives
Partner with functional People Partners to ensure continuity in the delivery and administration of HR programs and policies
Work closely with Payroll, Benefit and HR Operations teams to ensure HR operations and policies are executed seamlessly
Address employee questions on a variety of topics including benefits and perks, policies, leaves of absence, accommodations and more
Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding of new employees
Conduct investigations as necessary
Partner with the recruiting team and hiring managers to identify and fulfill staffing needs
We'd love to hear from people with
5+ years of HR Business Partner experience
Prior experience supporting fast paced, global organization and working with a globally distributed team
Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas: coaching, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and program management
Ability to effectively flex between strategy and tactics; you can zoom out to see the big picture then execute locally
Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
Working knowledge of local trends, best practices, and regulations in HR and employment law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You maintain a people centric and "roll up your sleeves" and solutions oriented mindset and work style.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion; maintain confidentiality
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
