As a Senior Data Analyst at SurveyMonkey, you will be working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Data team to support the team in driving process standardization, optimization, and automation to enable our teams to scale and deliver world-class customer experiences. We are seeing a detail-oriented and analytical individual who will be responsible for supporting and identifying opportunities for process improvements, streamlining workflows, and increasing productivity across our teams.What you'll be working onMaintain and support the proposal process for adding events to the analytics taxonomy (Amplitude)Work closely with Engineering and product teams to ensure timely and accurate event trackingSurface and help fix any data issues and whitespace opportunities as it relates to product analytics tracking and taxonomyWork closely with Engineering team to help maintain data taxonomyBe one of the go to people to help with Amplitude questions Support existing operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardization, and automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that streamline workflows and increase productivityTrain and onboard team members on new processes and procedures to ensure adoption and effectivenessContinuously evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements and make recommendations for further optimizationWork with the Data Engineering team and Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate collection of data and troubleshoot any data anomoralitiesCommunicate the results of analyses in a clear, concise manner to both business and technical audiencesSurface any data inconsistencies and work with various stakeholders to rectify issuesWe'd love to hear from people with5+ years of work experience in data analysis/reporting/analytics or other relevant fields in a tech companyExperience with Product Analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalentStart-up experience a plusHigh degree of comfort/experience using SQL. Scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R) a plus.Proficient in accessing cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, or equivalent)Knowledge and experience in product analyticsExcellent problem-solving capabilities with attention to detailFamiliarity with subscription products and self-service funnels, especially metrics design, product feature analytics, and A/B testing methodologies a plusA curious data-driven mindset and an eagerness to get things doneWhy work with SurveyMonkey?
