Job descriptionWe Canopus GBS is hiring for SAP Sales/ Business Development ManagerCandidate should plan and carry out sales activities and identify new clients, to build and develop sales of IT Services across various industries. To develop relations specifically within the SAP market in the region and work closely with SAP teams. Excellent opportunity to join an established global market.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Responsible for new business.Building and Developing relations within the SAP market in the region.Work with our partners to derive sales across multiple platforms.Develop ideas and create offers and value propositionsResponsible for building pipeline and follow up on sales leadsTravel for sales activities to different locations.Liaison with the internal team to build proposalsMonitor and report on activities and provide relevant management informationCarry out market research, and competitor and suggest strategiesLiaise and attend meetings necessary to build the brand by attending seminars, and analyst forums that aid business development.Requirements:SAP Sales Manager/ Senior Business Development Manager required with 5 years + IT Sales experience.Experience is selling SAP services is a MUST. Solution selling and exposure to large SAP deals will be an advantage.The ability to work very closely with the delivery and sales support team across the globe is a pre-requisite.Inside sales : 1 to 2 years experience with IT Product & service selling (B2B) with solid communication skills. SAP licence selling is good to have.Sales Lead/BD : 5 to 10 years experience in SAP solution/license Sales, Must have strong engagement with SAP account managers and potential customer baseworking engagements with SAP Account managers for getting SAP licenses price for India customers
