The Recruitment Marketing Manager's overall goal is to apply marketing expertise to attract world-class talent to American Express, globally. This includes understanding hiring goals, processes, challenges, and opportunities, as well as the candidate decision journey by talent segment, to develop break-through marketing strategies. From there, they will leverage existing tools and resources and Colleague Value Proposition (CVP) content to develop targeted strategies aligned to either digital campaigns across channels such as social, search, and programmatic display or utilizing an organic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage existing and future Global Recruitment Marketing Campaigns and evolve the strategy to continue to solidify American Express as an employer of choice
Encourage external creative and advertising agencies to develop and implement campaigns that test the limits of digital media while meeting marketing objectives
Partner with Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver recruitment marketing strategies generating targeted pipelines for key talent segments, while also boosting overall awareness and perception of Amex as an employer
Plan and implement marketing programs in partnership with recruiting teams. Leverage data and analytics to communicate overall program effectiveness and optimize strategies over time
Analyze historical hiring trends to optimize application source mix (e.g. career site, referrals, external job boards)
Articulate the candidate decision journey and how it may differ by talent segment. Leverage this work to steer marketing programs and tactics
Monitor and identify competitor and industry trends to make recommendations on marketing strategies, tools, resources, and processes to increase reach, engagement, and hiring results
Responsible for selection and management of marketing agencies & vendors in this space
Requirements:
Experience?in marketing, digital advertising, communications
Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience strongly preferred
Excellent project management skills
Experience with digital marketing tools and practices
Experience working withandadvisinglocal Recruitment Marketing agencies
Ability to managemultiple stakeholders/teams and strong written and verbal communication
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with experience working across large multicultural teams
Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
