We are looking forProject Management Office (PMO) Professional Expert
As a PMO professional Expert you have role of skill development program to align between the growing needs of the project organization with the vision of the Business. In this role you will plan and lead project management competency development and buildup, covering areas e.g. PM@Siemens guidelines, Siemens internal circular, standards, regulations and customer requirements. Deliver trainings for site, offices, factories remotely / physically that equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to manage projects effectively. Identify and develop talent for various project management roles. Guide improvements in existing processes, enhancing the existing standards and templates and develop new templates as necessary for project excellence at Siemens Mobility India. Conduct necessary assessments remotely / physically to drive high performance culture at the organization.
You will be actively working and coordinating with Internal Siemens Mobility India Management, business heads, project managers, bid managers, IT, strategy, central controlling team and employees working in bids and projects, PM, LoA coordinators, communities of other business and countries. You may need to coordinate with external Project Management Bodies, universities.
You'll make a difference by
Develop and continuously improve competency development framework that that outlines the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for effective project management and capacity buildup plan based on business needs and training needs for organization with milestones and mechanism to monitor the progress the effectiveness.
Conduct necessary assessment to identify areas of development for process improvement as well development of employees in various areas of Project management.
Based on the identified gaps as well as business-customer requirements, identify the training needs and organizational professional development program to enhance competency in the field of project management.
Curate the training for the employees in the respective areas per e.g. elements and areas per PM@Siemens guideline and deliver the trainings.
Taking leads from various assessments, audits, reports, drive process improvement and developments of templates in collaboration with execution-bid team to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness in area of project management.
Mentor and guide project management professional to deliver excellence in the respective projects as well develop in the field of Project Management.
Developing the role catalogue [role, responsibility, authority] for various project management roles using existing global templates and customer requirements.
Promote a culture of continuous learning by facilitating knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and best practice exchanges among project managers
Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to align competency development initiatives with organizational goals and strategies
Monitor Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in project management to ensure the competency framework remains relevant and up-to-date

Desired Skills:
You should have minimum experience of 20 years out of which minimum 10years should be in project and bids or equivalent, 5 years in training and development activities as trainer-assessor with at least 5year in Siemens.
You should have proficiency in undertaking online as well as in person training to small as well as large set of trainees.
You should have experience as assessor for competency development and or certification.\
You should have undertaken or driven internal assessment for process/performance improvement.
You should have bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in engineering. Diploma, degree, or certification in project management will be an added advantage.
You should understand Planning-Scheduling-Resource management, Requirements management, Document management, Configuration management, contract and change management, Risk and opportunity management Hands on experience will be an added advantage. Engineering, Site Management experience will be an added advantage.
Growth Mindset - You should have learning mindset, open to learn, experiment and continually improve.
You should have good communication skills – writing emails official letters as well as verbal communication. Language proficiency in English, Hindi , knowing other local language is an added advantage.
