Function Description
The Global Partner & Operational Support group is an organization within our servicing network that is responsible for handling 3rd party vendors as an extension of our servicing network. GPOS are passionate about driving the world's best customer experience and enabling business growth through strategic partnerships at the right margins with steadfast risk and control standards. Our Partner Systems Integration & Management team is seeking a Lead Business Architect who will be responsible for defining and aligning business strategies with technology solutions to drive growth and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver with a passion for creative and innovative ideas.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Lead business/operations discussions to understand needs/requirements including discovery sessions to evaluate solution options ensuring due diligence leading to recommendations.
Work within and across Capabilities, Technologies, and GPOS business groups to implement key initiatives, including new capabilities, new third-party integrations, system uplifts and maintenance needs.
Ensure project solutions are aligned to AMEX architectural & technical strategy and standards, support RFP processes.
Build/Support Project Management structure and approach in identifying teams/resources to be engaged for discovery through implementations.
Ensure TLM consistency and contractual completeness as it pertains to third party applications, integrations, and data protection.
Provide oversight, guidance, mentoring to ensure GPOS solutions are compliant, meet business needs, and accurately supported (prop or partner) for high stability.

Qualification
Self-starter able to problem tackle, prioritize, coordinate, and execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality through the life cycle.
Technical acumen including network engineering and infrastructure, product delivery, and solution development.
Highly resilient, able to get results in challenging and changing business environment.
Strong planning and organizing skills, ability to handle and see delivery of complex projects from discovery to implementation.
Thought leadership with experience analyzing technical/non-technical business processes and ability to implement technical solutions and operational requirements.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based solutions.
Academic Qualifications - Engineering, Computer Science, or related field experience.
