About this opportunity:
The SRF (Service Request Fulfilment) team member is responsible for implementing changes in the live environment, ensuring seamless operations, and minimizing service disruptions. This role involves gathering requirements, preparing and executing Method of Procedures (MOPs), and reviewing activity logs to maintain the stability and reliability of the system.
What you will do:
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for changes in the live environment.
o Analyze requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility.
• MOP Preparation and Execution:
o Prepare a raw Method of Procedure (MOP) detailing the steps for executing changes on the testbed.
o Execute changes on the testbed environment to validate procedures.
o Prepare the final MOP for production deployment after successful testbed execution.
• Verification and Validation:
o Ensure MOPs for significant activities (e.g., RHEL patching, Oracle PSU, EP deployment) are thoroughly verified by the team lead.
o Validate changes before deployment to the production environment.
• Production Execution:
o Execute validated MOPs in the production environment to implement changes.
o Monitor and document the implementation process.
• Activity Log Review:
o Review activity logs to ensure changes were implemented correctly.
o Document any issues or observations and report to the relevant stakeholders.
The skills you bring
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management process.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, particularly RHEL and DevOps/Cloud.
• Familiarity with Oracle PSU, EP deployment, and other significant activities.
• Experience with creating and executing MOPs.
Qualifications
• 2-5 years' experience in Mobile Financial Services.
• Degree within Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• RHCSA Certified
