Responsibilities
Ability to conceive a multi-prong networked strategy and execute an integrated approach to drive mining volume and efficiencies that meet or exceed best in class benchmarks in terms of cost, production and safety
Lead and manage overall mining operations, including planning, development, and execution of strategies to ensure productivity targets are met
Implement and maintain safe work practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and Adani's safety standards
Oversee the development and execution of mine plans, production schedules, and budgets to meet operational requirements
Provide leadership and direction to the mine operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, resolve operational challenges, and drive innovation
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from targets
Manage contractor relationships, performance evaluations, and adherence to contractual obligations
Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable mining practices, environmental stewardship, and community engagement initiatives
Prepare regular reports, presentations, and updates for senior management, highlighting operational performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to drive operational excellence
