Job Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals with a strong background in accountancy and tax as Financial Reports Specialist to work for Financial Consulting Services business. You must be qualified as per UK accounting standards and will be responsible for preparing and processing financial reports for submitting to the authorities in UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports for submission to UK Government Funding boards, in compliance with funding board requirements
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations in the UK and India, identifying tax optimization opportunities and minimizing tax liabilities
Utilize your expertise in accountancy to ensure precision and adherence to regulatory guidelines
Apply your knowledge to guarantee tax compliance in all financial reports, minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing benefits for the organization
­­Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
Analyze project budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with funding guidelines and to maximize financial support
Provide insights and recommendations based on your analysis to enhance financial strategies and decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and project management, to gather necessary information for financial reporting
Maintain detailed records and documentation of financial transactions, ensuring transparency and audit readiness
Conduct thorough reviews of financial reports to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality, perform internal audits to identify potential errors and rectify them before submission to funding boards
Maintain organized records of all financial documents and ensure compliance with document retention policies, prepare necessary documentation for audits and reviews by regulatory authorities
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify cost-saving measures and potential areas of improvement in financial operations
Stay up-to-date with changes in UK and Indian tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the organization is fully compliant
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ATT, CTA CA) is highly desirable
In-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations in the UK and India
Proven experience in preparing financial reports for government funding submissions
Excellent spoken and written communication skill in English and interpersonal abilities
Advanced level proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
