We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP), Corporate Treasury team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra / Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Execute timely monthly production processes and controls across FTP Actuals and FTP Forecasting deliverables using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) vendor software
Research, design, propose and implement process improvements where applicable
Analyze Business/Operational Requirements and support Data processing, Reconciliations and controls using SQL/Excel/QRM
Produce FTP reporting, including attribution analyses and variance commentary for Corporate Treasury and Line of Business (LOB) CFO teams
Own Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all related data ingestion, data processing, data transformation, reconciliations and controls being performed
Partner with Technology team to track production system performance vs defined metrics / Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Partner with 2nd Line of Defense (Risk) and 3rdLine of Defense (Internal Audit) through regular reviews to address challenges and action items
In close coordination with US based team, perform data analytics using SQL
Own testing of upstream and downstream changes on both a regular and ad-hoc project basis (project example: migration of input transaction data from one system to another; monthly example: update of firmwide reference data to inform changes to any FTP related reference data)
Ensure all the job responsibilities are performed in compliance with BNY standard governance practices.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
7+yrs experience in Corporate Treasury, Asset and Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity Management or Funds Transfer Pricing.
Knowledge of a bank's balance sheet and financial instruments, finance / management reporting systems, Net Interest Income / Expense calculations, and Funds Transfer Pricing assumptions and methodologies
Proficiency in SQL: Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
Hands on experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) vendor application is preferred
Knowledge of Power BI, MAQ, Cubas and/or Bloomberg would be beneficial.
Bachelor's degree in Finance / Economics or related field required, Master's degree/MBA preferred.
Candidate must be a self-starter, willing to learn new content and tools/processes quickly in order to contribute as quickly as possible
Communication ability via video conferencing will be a key factor in final candidate decisions
