We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President I - Fund Administration to join our GTA – Global Transfer Agency, Alternative Investment Services business team. This role is located in Chennai, HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Manages a small to medium Fund administration team that handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries, transactional processing, and problem resolution.
Manages the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks through other managers or professionals.
Contributes to the achievement of business objectives and develop business plan for team/group operations.
Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
Work closely with our Operational colleagues, the Service Delivery Management team and Engineering to ensure we improve processes and find new ways to enhance client experience.
Manages team in working with internal and external auditors to ensure they have information to conduct audits in an efficient manner.
Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional development, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
9-12 years of work experience required in banking industry preferably in Transfer Agency - Alternatives, Fund Accounting - Alternatives domain.
Minimum experience of 3-5 years in managing people.
Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines.
