We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Scientist Ito join our Asset Servicing Divisional Data Office team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Partners with others to deliver meaningful insights in complex business situations. Establishes relationships to obtain data and subject knowledge needed to support advanced analytics. Conducts studies to provide additional facts needed to make informed decisions regarding organizational and functional effectiveness with data decisioning.
Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
Extracts business insights to guide direction of learning activities and drive organizational efficiencies, effectiveness, and outcomes.
Maintains knowledge of company's total computing environment and planned changes to develop meaningful data science products.
Monitors industry and marketplace technology practices and benchmarks related to banking industry and supporting the data strategy. Stays abreast of technological innovations and trends. Recommend areas for improvement.
Collaborates/Supervises leaders/Individuals to deliver on complex projects aligned with organizational strategies and business priorities. Provides training in technical tools and skills, specific applications, and their business functions to maximize their contribution.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Advanced degree in STEM engineering degrees, or equivalent work experience with experience preferred in related fields.
Demonstrable expertise in Machine Learning and AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Hands-on experience with data including familiarity with programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, R.
Ability to communicate complex topics and methodologies to a wide audience in concise and clear terms.
Good to have text analysis, NLP, Generative AI experience.
