Vice President – Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I

The Compliance Governance function designs, delivers, and manages the compliance framework across the Firm. This includes but is not limited to Compliance Risk Reporting, Compliance Issues Management, Lesson Learned, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
We're seeking a future team member for the role ofVice Presidentto join ourData Management & Quantitative Analysis Iteam. This role will be based inPune/Chennai- Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Perform Data Analysis to assess the changes required to the risk reporting platform to accommodate the changes/enhancements to the platform requested by the risk officers.
Determine the changes to be made to risk reporting platform to accommodate the requests from the risk officers and document the user stories along with acceptance criteria on the JIRA tool.
Work with technology folks to review the user stories as documented on the JIRA tool and delineate the requirements to them.
Validate the implemented changes in lower environment. Prepare the data to be reviewed with risk officers post the changes and seek their concurrence for deploying the changes to live environment.
Validate the changes deployed in the live environment and demonstrate the implemented changes to the risk officers and seek their sign off on implementation.
Review the suite of risk reports in the lower environment during the UAT cycle and in live environment post implementation for each release to assess the impact of changes on reporting.
Review the up-stream changes and assess their impact on the risk data and reporting
Respond to user queries on risk data or reporting.
Review any issues reported by the risk officers on the risk data or reporting to assess if they are genuine issues and determine the changes to be implemented for resolving the genuine issues by analyzing the data on the risk reporting platform.
Document the changes required to be implemented to risk reporting platform in JIRA tool to resolve issues and review the proposed changes with technology.
Validate the changes implemented for resolving the issues identified by the risk officers in the lower environment and in live environment.
Demonstrate the resolution provided for the issues to the risk officers and seek their sign off on the implementation.
Monitor the group mailbox and create JIRA tickets to track the incoming user requests.
Draft incident emails and distribute to the users for daily IT related issues.
Create/maintain documents based on changes implemented for the ERI monthly release.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
No direct reports.
Provides guidance to more junior analysts.
Primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own work and the work of assigned project team members.
Work contributes to the achievement of area goals.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
8+ years' experience preferred.
Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
