Vice President, Data Governance II

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Governance II to join our Asset Servicing Divisional Data Office team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID.
Shift Timings: US OR EMEA  12:00 Noon to 8:30 PM
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 
Gather, document, and validate business requirements and data specifications for data management projects.
Perform data analysis, profiling, and mapping to identify data sources, data flows, data transformations, and data quality issues.
Design, develop, and test data solutions using data management tools and methodologies, such as data modeling, data integration, data cleansing, data governance, and data security.
Ensure data solutions comply with data standards, policies, and best practices.
Provide data quality assurance and data validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Create and maintain data documentation, such as data dictionaries, data catalogs, data lineage, and data quality reports.
Provide data support and troubleshooting to resolve data issues and queries.
Create and deliver data reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Collaborate with data management team and other cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and integration across data domains and systems.
Stay updated with data industry trends, technologies, and best practices. 

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 
Bachelor's / master's degree in business, data, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 10-12 years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role in data management or data-related projects.
Strong knowledge and skills in data management concepts, principles, and practices, such as data modeling, data integration, data quality, data governance, and data security. 
Proficient in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, ETL, data warehouse, data lake, data catalog, data quality, and data visualization. 
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in data management, data analysis, or data science is a plus.
