This role is located in Pune,Maharashtra, India – Hybrid(3 days in Office).In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: As a member of the Onboarding Control Management team, this role is responsible for Working with senior stakeholders to identify key areas requiring risk and control focus and support.Setting the strategy for identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing risks within their assigned portfolio.Supports the Risk Framework processes for the assigned portfolio within Enterprise Onboarding Uses in-depth knowledge of risk and control frameworks, risk and control theory and practice, and controls implementation and assessment to determine potential risks to the organizationAssesses, analyses and draws conclusions in order to recommend and direct any resulting change needed to mitigate risks across Onboarding (Account opening, set up, maintenance, contracts, KYC, Offboarding)Flexible leadership and support to engage in ad-hoc pieces of work when the need arises.Managing complex projects that involve working with the businesses to improve controls to mitigate any deficienciesEvaluate potential financial impact of control deficiencies and coordinate with control owners on remediation plans including following through to ensure corrective actions are achieved within agreed timescales.Serve as a trusted liaison for control owners, as well as for our internal and external auditors.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred7-10 years of total work experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.Strong stakeholder management, analytical, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skillsKey Words:  Control testing, advisory, complex analysis, multitask, adaptable, risk management, control, problem solving, proactive, risk culture, risk management, control management, audit, regulatory, risk framework, critical thinking, detail oriented, process improvement, automation, technology risk, Stakeholder/Relationship Management, Client facing / Consultative experience, agileAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
