The team you will be a part of
The Product Design team designs, validates and brings new products to market.; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety. Collaborates with internal partners to optimize designs for manufacturability.
This role in summary
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Advanced Experience Designer opening to join our Global Design organization.

Your responsibilities will include
Provide thought leadership in the "Internet Of Things" (IoT) and connected product space.
Evaluate and interpret emerging trends in competitive product design and user interaction technologies.
Create compelling and innovative user experiences for connected and future appliances on mobile and product platforms.
Develop prototype concepts for the next big innovation in consumer appliance interactions.
Quickly integrate 3rd party software solutions, online service APIs, and off-the-shelf electronic components to prototype and demonstrate experience viability.
Stay current with the technology landscape and provide insights into promising applications of multi-sensory hardware and software components, such as light, sound, speech, haptics, and environmental sensors.
Be familiar with AI, machine learning, and model development, and their integration into custom applications.
Develop and maintain experience blueprints and UX architecture to guide user experience design and development, mapping out the entire user journey, including touchpoints and interactions.
Champion user-centered design principles and ensure that the user's perspective is central to all design and development processes.
Work closely with engineering, marketing, and product management teams to align design strategies with business goals and technical constraints.
Structure and facilitate research studies and ethnography to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and experiences.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital and physical product interfaces.
Utilize analytics and user research data to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes on user satisfaction and business outcomes.
Ensure that all designs comply with accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive experiences for all users.
Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in design and user experience, and continuously seek opportunities for professional development.
Minimum requirements
1-3 years of UX Design Experience
An understanding of the human-centered design process.
Ability to seamlessly design between physical and digital experiences.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Strong understanding of Android, IOS and custom software.
2+ years of experience in digital design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator,XD.
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or Engineering.
2+ years of UX Design experience in the Consumer Electronics, Appliance or Automotive industry.
An understanding of the human-centered design process.
Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve. features, all with a user-centered design process.
Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.
Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for multiple platforms and modalities.
