We are currently seeking a US Tax Specialist to join our team in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
OVERVIEW:
The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of global direct taxes, including but not limited, to the preparation of direct income tax workpapers, preparation and filings of annual income tax returns, both federal and state returns, as well as, applicable estimates and extensions, preparation of journals entries and performing tax account reconciliation. In addition, this role will assist global tax controversy, including the compilation of information and drafting responses to various tax audits and notices, and performing tax research. The development of effective working relationships with management, as well as finance and other operating personnel, located throughout the world is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the preparation of direct income tax supporting workpapers and income tax returns in OneSource for both federal and states
Preparing tax payment calculations, payment request forms, journal entries, and tax account reconciliations
Maintaining global tax compliance calendars
Assisting with various global tax audits and information document request responses, including gathering information, performing tax research, and drafting responses
Assist with calculation and reporting under Accounting Standards Codifications 740, Income Taxes
Assisting with drafting responses to various notices and correspondence received from government agencies
Special projects, as needed
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of experience in large corporate tax environment and/or Big 4
Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification
Understanding major steps in global tax compliance processes
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and high proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office applications, SAP and OneSource OIT Income Tax Software and OTP – Provision Software
Ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements, strong interest in technology and managing large data sets
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, ability to work independently in a global fast-paced deadline driven environment, with proven project and time management skills
