Job Description SummaryThe Transport Specialist organizes and tracks national and international transport of equipment associated with logistics platform shipments. He arbitrates the technical constraints according to the criteria of cost, quality, and deadlines.Job DescriptionThe transport specialist manages inward logistics in a manner that shall meet business fulfillment requirements in parallel with the goal of transportation cost reduction. ,self-motivated individual to fill the role of supply chain management and to ensure planned schedule to delivery on time for all inbound shipments, Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle to support SCM, Production teamStrategically Plan and coordinate the inbound logistics of import goods for GIS/AIS/FK from various suppliers.Lead the shipment planning process by enhanced system utilization and contractual coverage through collaboration with business operations.To ensure Budget vs Actual transport cost to be monitored and compared to RFQ rate considered all inward shipment Sea/LCL/AIR by coordinating with Global team.Collaborate with Logistics partner, Transport Management System (OTM) and Global team to ensure timely deliveries &r finalization of competitive freight rate for FCL/LCL/AIR & Spot quote approval and validation.Optimize shipments, timely delivery as per planned vessel, and cost efficiency through close tracker of import shipment on a daily basis.By coordinating with CHA to Establishing and managing customs clearance and transportation the incoming consignment to ensure timely deliveries.PR/PO -Service Contract/ManagementMaintain accurate records for audit purposes and support compliance with GE regulations. Ensure processing ofDuty Miro & Moowr/ Ex-bond for all duty paid shipments.Required qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years' field logistics experience?Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided:Yes
