Technologist, ASIC Development Engineering
PreSilicon Platforms Bring up Lead (Emulation & FPGA Platforms)
Job Description: 15+ years of experience in SoC/ASIC Functionality Bring up and debug during the Pre Silicon phase with experience working on Pre Silicon Platforms like Cadence Palladium/Protium Emulators and/or HAPS FPGA Prototyping.

This position requires understanding of the prototyping and emulation of the complete chip and it's bring-up at pre-silicon level.
Requires experience Bringing up at unit level, full chip verification/validation & firmware code on Palladium/Protium Emulators & FPGA Prototyping hardware systems.
We are looking for Experts in debugging & resolving Pre-Silicon Prototyping issues working with FW/Validation with a mix of ASIC design porting skills to FPGA/Emulators & Prototype Bring up/Validation/FW Support Experience.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Should lead and drive bring up of various interfaces working closely with HW Validation teams, ASIC Verification/Design teams & Firmware teams.
Requires familiarity with Industry FPGA systems like HAPS FPGA Systems and/or ASIC Cadence Palladium Protium Emulators and how to debug system level problems. Partner with customers to break down barriers of execution. Develop automation and reporting to improve emulation and prototyping infrastructure. Support FPGA and Emulation FARM customers and debug issues faced by users and feedback to Build engineers to help improve Palladium/Protium/FPGA builds.
Experience with industry standard interfaces such as PCI Express, USB, SATA, UFS, DDR4/5, I2C, UART, JTAG, High speed SerDes is required. Experience with lab bring up & hands on working on FPGA Prototypes in lab is required. Independent & Quick ramp up expected. Good Team Player.
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, TCL C-shell is strongly recommened

BE/BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar 15+ years of experience in Pre-Silicon Platform Emulation & FPGA Prototyping of complete SoC/Chip. Experience working on VLSI/Firmware/Embedded environments 10+ Years of Experience working on PreSilicon Bring up, Hands on experience debugging ASIC Validation code & FW on Pre-Silicon Platforms. Ability to drive various debugs bringing up FW/System use cases on FPGA Prototypes, Palladium/Protium Emulators etc
