Technical Content Professional

Do you love language and like to get nerdy about the accuracy of specific words coupled with a curiosity for design thinking and user experiences?

If yes, we are looking for talented content designers to help make a meaningful impact on how our customers use our products. We expect you to have experience in developing technical product content, both inside and outside of the user interface (UI), with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and the user experience.

You would work on a design team that is part of the worldwide design organization for Security – a part of IBM that is collectively responsible for software products focused on helping customers fight cybercrime.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on driving a cohesive end-to-end content experience that moves customers through every phase of their product journey.
Design, develop, and publish IBM technical content (e.g. embedded in the UI, product tours, messages, product & API documentation, and multimedia, such as videos and onboarding content) that is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find.
Simplify technically complex concepts and details from multiple sources into consumable content that drives user actions.
Deliver clear, inclusive, accessible, and translated content for a global audience.
Research and design content based on user scenarios and use cases and conduct user testing/research to validate content.
Collaborate directly with your design team and developers to build out, update, and modernize our software products.
Share work in progress, along with giving and receiving critiques
