This technical BA/PM is a critical and multi hated role in one of Data engineering team of Citi's Markets & Operations technology department. This incoming person will be responsible for managing the overall
Data stored, quality and governance for the data pipelines within the department. Primary responsibility will be to work with departments technology and business stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, stored, and used appropriately and
Effectively. Additionally help application team as a Scrum master and help application manager for managing the application hygiene and mitigate risk timely.
Responsibilities:
• Liaise withstakeholdersacross technology, business, and operations teams in the Markets & Operations Technology.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data quality, data governance policies, standards, procedures.
• Manage expectations of various stakeholder groups and help negotiate solutions to complex problems.
• Accurately record, maintain, and report Program/Project management tracking datasuch as milestones via Citi's internalproject tracking systems.
•Data Analysiscapabilities (Database and Spreadsheet), with extensive experienceusing PL SQL scripting and Excel required.
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned.
• Strong knowledge ofSDLCand play role ofBusiness Data analyst.
• Support the team playing additional role of aScrum Masterand run all ceremonies.
• As aPMhelpapplication managerin activities to maintain application hygiene and health as per Citi standards.
•Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
•Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
•Acts asSMEto senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information management, data science, computer science)
• Proven experience in data governance, data management or a related field.
• Preferable coming from data warehouse, data lake or data managed platforms.
• Certified scrum master or any agile certification.
• Strong knowledge and years of experience on Jira and other project management tools.
• Strong experience in advanced Microsoft excels, word, power point.
• Excellent communication(written & verbal) and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
