We are a specialised team supporting the content production flow of DAZN to create world class programmes. As a member of the team, you will carry out the daily tasks and operations of the team as a specialist. Your responsibilities will primarily include post-production tasks, managing filming equipment, supporting live programmes, testing new project workflows.
The Technical Assistant team is responsible for first-line support and management of editing equipment, format editing and quality control of delivered commercials, handling various post-production tasks such as format conversions and deliveries, and managing content recording bookings.
Additionally, you will support production live tasks such as managing and maintaining filming equipment, supporting studio shows, virtual gallery operations, and highlight editing. This is a multi-skilled role that evolves to meet business needs

Implement and test new workflows and projects.
Monitor success of workflows and look for ways to improve them. Challenge new workflows for the Technical Assistant team.
Support production team with first line support of post-production, live sessions and file-based workflows
Assisting the preparation and setup of editing production suites.
Ensure quality control of digital media encodes and broadcast deliverables.
Support for filming operations, including management and maintenance of filming equipment rental and studio shooting.
Provide support on in-house live productions including studio, commentary and virtual gallery set-up and operation.

Experience working in a post-production or media services environment.
Familiar with Japanese broadcasting industry

Experience working with Adobe Premiere editing software and cloud-based MAM systems with a good understanding of workflows, video file formats and video and audio codecs.
Being able to communicate technical and non-technical information well.
Basic understanding of networking
Experience of editing within Premier Pro, including importing, exporting and transcoding files
Confident using PCs and basic knowledge of Mac and Linux systems
Self-solving, analysis abilities
Business level of Japanese speaking and writing, Business level English is an advantage
Power apps/Power BI coding is a plus.
