Job Description
Review all types of Canada/ CA individual income tax returns.
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.
• Manage the engagement team -Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN.
Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates & Specialists.
Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.
Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.
Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing. Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Eligibility criteria:
·Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA.
·Experience: 6+ years in Canada and/or US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or Big4.
·Should be a signer of Canada and/or US Individual Income tax returns for a minimum of 12-18 months.
·A US CPA or Enrolled Agent would be an added advantage.
·Excellent communication skills.
·Experience in team management and responsible for quality control within the team.
·Possess sound technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, along with analytical thinking ability.
·Should have experience of working closely with foreign offices and clients.
·Capability to guide and support team members with technical stands and queries.
·Willingness to support team functions and experience in mentoring juniors in learning basic and new tax technical topics.
·Work Location: Bangalore / Kolkata / Remote
