We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Advisor-ServiceNow to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India (IN).
ServiceNow JavaScript Developer
The JavaScript Developer will provide ServiceNow mobile application development support to the U.S. Bank Employee Technology Experience ServiceNow Mobile Application Development team. JavaScript developer to perform the following key activities:
Create ServiceNow Mobile screens and understand the hierarchical structure of the different ServiceNow Mobile screens.
Use ServiceNow Mobile App Builder and ServiceNow Mobile Card Builder.
Create complex queries to pull data into Service Portal Widgets.
Write JavaScript code as well as understand basic web development principles for mobile devices.
Use APIs to assist in writing efficient queries as well as designing efficient Service Portal Widgets.
Use ServiceNow Best Practices for mobile app development to create a seamless user experience for the functionality U.S. Bank wants to incorporate on the Now Mobile apps.
Create tables, ACLs, roles, business logic and using scoped app development.
Create and understand complex flows using flow designer.
Navigate the Now Platform and system administration principles
Use analytics to understand user experience on the ServiceNow Mobile app to improve adoption of the mobile app.
Use App Repo / Update sets to migrate changes to upper-level environments in following U.S. Bank best practices.
Outline future development features in design review documents to explain to teams of how table relationships would work in a scoped app setup.
The JavaScript Developer will have the following minimum skills:
Knowledge of the ServiceNow APIs for both Server/Client (GlideSystem, GlideUser, GlideQuery, GlideAggregate, and GlideAjax.
Knowledge of AngularJS and Angular Directives.
JQuery knowledge and DOM manipulation.
Knowledge of the difference between Server and Client Scripts in ServiceNow.
Knowledge of best practices for writing efficient Glide Queries.
Knowledge of debugging tactics for testing code. When to use which debugging method for both Server & Client-side scripting.
Knowledge of Service Portal and how to create Service Portal widgets + pages.
Knowledge of Angular Modules.
Efficient in writing practical and re-useable code.
Knowledge of Bootstrap + HTML.
Understanding of Agile / Scrum principles.
