JR66365 Systems Engineer- IT Loadbalancer

Responsibilities and Tasks:You will work regularly with Micron's Business Units to ensure solutions meet or exceed business requirements. You will be expected to suggest, promote, and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and ensure regulatory as well as license compliance.As part of your responsibilities you will be required to:
Provide day to day F5 BIG-IP technology directions, support and application guidance for proper load balancing
Provide technology directions through monthly worldwide collaboration meetings
Maintain global collaboration with the other Micron IT operations teams, both internal and external to I&O
Operational support escalation
Incident management and problem management
Project execution towards tight deadlines
Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Micron Business Units

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Continually improves operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions.
Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident and problem management processes.
Recommends and works with the Solution and Enterprise Architect on system or architectural changes when needed to improve performance, high availability, scalability, or propose new technologies.
Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing.
Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or new technology deployments as reference architecture for the global operation team.

Qualifications / Experience
4+ years of experience as F5 BIG-IP Administrator
Basic application understanding for proper load balancing methods and health checks
Strong Knowledge in F5 BIG-IP LTM , GTM and BIG-IQ
Strong Knowledge in Policy configuration using iRule
Strong troubleshooting knowledge using wireshark
Troubleshooting loadbalancing issues using F5 logs
Installation, configuration, and administration of the major F5 BIG-IP components and strong technical knowledge in the below key technologies:
Windows Servers (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016)
Active Directory Domain Services
Strong networking knowledge with understanding of all levels of the OSI stack
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal).
Must be able to work under pressure and project deadlines.
Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation.
Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Willing to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
Passion and accountability for the environment you will be responsible for.
