Cash handling: Collecting payments, handling cash and credit card transactions, and balancing the cash register
Transactions: Processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate transaction records
Returns and exchanges: Handling returns, exchanges, and complaints
Checkout area: Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
Other duties: Promoting loyalty plans, training new cashiers, helping other cashiers, and assisting with packaging
