POSITION OVERVIEW
The Staff QA engineer will be responsible for defining, implementing, and coaching the Quality engineering discipline at the Intelex India location. This role will also work closely with the DevOps team and improve Continuous testing in our test pipeline. Mentor test engineers by providing coaching and guidance on testing best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Staff QA engineer will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and leading the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.
Supports automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.
Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
Collaborate with product teams to strategize & align long term solution for test including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
Evaluate, select, and formulate the best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
Create a standard framework for Functional Automation and mobile automation. Presents technical documentation for review by peers and the Development community.
To work with DevOps team for resolution of technical issues and validate the DevOps Pipelines as needed.
Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity, and reusability
Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Experience creating and supporting automation framework used by distributed teams
Experience in Continuous Deployment / Integration / Delivery throughout the software engineering lifecycle
Experience in containerizing applications and orchestration tools.
Technical Competencies
Required:
Experience in testing tools Selenium, Appium
Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and/or programming languages (e.g., C# / Java) with demonstrated ability to write deterministic automation scenarios
Experience in scripting Groovy, Jenkins DSL,Git,Artifactory,Azure Devops(TFS)
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of C#, MSSQL, .NET Framework

Required:
10 or more years of experience in Software development with focus on Quality Assurance in Continuous Integration, Continuous testing environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field (or equivalent work experience)
