JR54792 Staff Engineer - SSD Firmware Test
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics & communication, computer science or closely related field (must be from accredited college or university)
3 years of experience developing tests
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems.
Strong working knowledge of software development, verification, system failure analysis.
Proficiency in Python, Procedural and Object-Oriented Programming
Exposure to SW development practices
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Preferred Skills:
In depth knowledge and extensive experience with test development
Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments
Extensive experience programming in Python
Experience programming and debugging in C/C++
Experience in the storage industry in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology
Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS
Experience in SQL and no-SQL databases, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, communication with Database Admin (DBA)
Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage
Ability to work independently with a minimum of day-to-day supervision
Ability to work in a multi-functional team and under the pressure of multiple priorities
