Addepar is building solutions to support our clients' alternatives investment strategies. We're using AI to automate and streamline ingestion and analysis of alternatives investment data. We're hiring a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to deliver scalable and automated testing solutions these ground breaking software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers and product managers to build intuitive solutions that revolutionize how clients experience AI and ML in the application and transform their experience of alternatives operations. What You'll Do
Work with Engineering teams across different time zones in the US, India, and Scotland to validate product features and capabilities, identify and resolve reported issues
Design and implement tests for new and existing features
Develop automated test scripts using test frameworks
Innovate testing approaches for ML systems at Addepar
Ensure timely and high-quality releases of Addepar products
Must have experience working on Data Science,AI/ML testing
Who You Are
Bachelor's/ Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
7+ years of Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance experience with at least 2 years of experience in finance domain (preferably capital market)
Extensive experience with back-end data testing with strong ability to investigate on technical issues with developers
Strong understanding and application of standard processes in Software Quality Engineering
Proficient in GitHub, RESTful API test tools, test infrastructure, and CI systems
Ability to design, implement, and test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver or Pytest
Work with and implement test libraries and tools to improve test automation efficiency
Proficiency with one or more object-oriented programming language (Python preferred)
Experience with testing of Cloud-native (preferably AWS) application
Experience with SQL/MySQL or PySpark SQL
Experience with load/performance testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working Kubernetes, Docker, or any container orchestration solution is desired
Experience working with Databricks is desired
Must have understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
