Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web applications that enhance our literature automation products. Your expertise in React and the Life Sciences domain will help us deliver intuitive and efficient interfaces that meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities:
UI Development: Design and implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
Architecture Design: Collaborate with backend developers and architects to define the overall frontend architecture and best practices.
Component Development: Create reusable components and libraries that align with our design system and improve development efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness.
Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and standards.
Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to improve our products.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10-12 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React in the Life Sciences domain.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in React.js and its core principles (e.g., component lifecycle, hooks).
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
