We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Principal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in developing enterprise-grade cloud solutions, with a strong focus on creating highly scalable and real-time systems. The successful candidate must be an expert in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) possessing significant hands-on experience in microservice architecture, real-time push notifications to devices, and designing highly scalable databases.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in successfully leading and developing enterprise-grade cloud solutions with the following responsibilities:
Design, build, and test distributed cloud architecture for massively scalable server-based application.
Data processing workflows which can handle large amounts of data ingress and processing
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on GCP.
In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Kubernetes , Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other key components.
Hands on development experience with proficiency in Java / GoLang / Nodejs / GRPC
Experience in infrastructure coding and CICD
Good knowledge of data security , privacy, and data protection laws
Strong knowledge of data storage and data warehousing
Cloud Security and compliance
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a cloud environment.
Experience in optimizing cloud costs and managing vendor relationships.
Up-to-date knowledge of cloud computing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Experience in developing and documenting standard operating procedures and policies.
Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes.
Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud, especially during major transfer, updates, or changes.
Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
Knowledge of AI\ML
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven hands-on experience of 10+ years as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with multiple enterprise-grade solutions architected, designed, developed, and delivered.
Proven hands-on experience in architecting and developing highly scalable, multi-tenanted, and real-time solutions.
Proven hands-on experience with microservice architecture, design, and development.
Proven hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Proven hands-on experience with real-time push notifications for mobile devices and peripherals.
Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine, and others.
Expertise in designing and managing highly scalable databases such as PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript and Java.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
