Software Engineer (Java & Python)

JOB DESCRIPTION:The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm.Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle complex business problems.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 3 years of related experienceBachelor's degree and/or equivalent experienceStrong understanding on cloud warehouse architecture and services in AWS or similar cloud Proven Core Java including Collections, multi-threading concepts with a working experience on J2EE along with Framework knowledge Spring/Spring boot, Unit Testing (Junit, Mockito)3+ years experience in application development and system analysisExperience in Python is a plus.Familiarity with some ORM librariesExperience with CSS, HTML, JavaScriptExposure to XML/XSD, JSON and similar data presentation componentsStrong database and PL/SQL skills (Oracle, Snowflake preferred)Experience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, JoCoCo and MavenExperience with Messaging, ETL or Reporting tools is a plus.Familiarity with Agile development methodologyUnderstanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
