We are seeking Software Engineer with specific skillset to join the Zebra Team!!
Position Overview:
We are looking for an eager developer who is interested in learning new technologies and techniques.
You will be a key part of the implementation and verification process and will be challenged to create an implementation that is robust and maintainable. You will be developing key components to be leveraged by other teams to build the overall solution.
Technologies you will be working with:
OS: Linux
IaaS: Google, AWS
Languages: Python
Nice to have: JavaScript
Responsibilities:
Be able to read code and understand how it fits into the overall architecture
Learn new languages and technologies.
Implement new features and the test suites to validate they work as expected
Given a basic framework, harden it by identifying edge cases and rewriting implementation as needed
Write documentation to allow other teams to integrate your components
Qualifications
Strong Python skills
Ability to read code and create a mental model of the application
Desire to work in diverse areas: server, client, frontend, backend, etc.
Ability to break down a multiday task into steps
Education/Experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in "Computer Science" or "Computer Engineering"
Preferred Work Experience: 2-5 years
