As a Software Specialist of the test team, will be responsible for quality assurance of cloud-native enterprise software applications within Software Solutions organization.
You will be responsible for develop and execute automated tests as well as manual tests to ensure product quality.
You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality of our software solutions.
You should ensure quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in defect tracking system.
Responsibilities:
As part of scrum member, understand detailed feature requirements and Design, develop automated/ manual test cases, and tests on a variety of clod native enterprise applications assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project.
Adapt automation first approach for the test - to sustain speed and agility of scrum.
Assist in designing and implementing automation frameworks suitable for cloud-native environments including the development of reusable test scripts and libraries.
Execute and monitor automated tests as part of the development lifecycle.
Identify, document, and report software defects using appropriate tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments for cloud-native applications.
Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems.
Maintain accurate records of test cases, results, and procedures.
Prepare and present test reports to team members and stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities will be
Be part of the initiatives to drive test effectiveness and test efficiencies to increase the teams value.
Work with cross functional teams to do technical discussions and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Help build self-sustaining stronger scrum team.

Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, ECE, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience with proven track record as test engineer at product-based companies. preferably with cloud-native applications.
Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java or JavaScript).
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium).
Understanding of different testing methodologies.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g Google Cloud, AWS or Azure).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge on Android as well as IOS device test automation.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Understanding of database concepts and basic SQL skills.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
