Introduction:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our innovative development team, focusing on software testing and quality assurance. In the current role 60% of the work would be into framework development and 40% would be into software testing.This role offers a unique opportunity to work on testing frameworks and contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Ideal candidates will be passionate about testing and quality, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the testing and validation stages of the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement test cases for software applications.
• Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Participate in manual testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing detailed feedback to the development team.
• Document test results and maintain comprehensive test reports.
• Engage in agile development practices and participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and identify potential improvements.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or currently enrolled) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in software development and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with C++, object-oriented programming, python and software debugging tools.
• Basic understanding of software testing tools and processes (e.g., manual testing, automated testing).
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Previous experience in software testing or related coursework is a plus.
