Software Development Manager

The IBM SSW business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as a Senior development (Engineering) manager on the ELM family of products. In this role, you will be the personnel manager for 15 plus persons team and responsible for building a culture of high-performance trust, inclusively and fun. You will work across the entire software delivery cycle including requirements gathering, use case definition, design, implementation, test automation, documentation, and delivery, including cloud infrastructure such as DevOps, SRE, Security, and customer support work as part of your scope. You'll frequently work with Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers, Designers, Sales, Support Business partners, and customers throughout this process.  It's expected that you have enough relevant technical experience to provide guidance to your team and help unblock progress from both technical and managerial front. You should be able to guide team to go for specialty certifications, inventions, patents.  This is an exciting opportunity to learn how the industry leading Enterprise Asset life cycle management suite of products works and to learn from a large team of very talented engineers.
