Onshape (www.onshape.com), a PTC SaaS business, is responsible for developing and supporting one-of-a-kind 3D collaborative CAD & Data Management SaaS service with cutting edge cloud, web, and mobile technologies. Your Impact:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a highly scalable and robust platform that enables the Onshape product. You will be working with a talented team of developers to ship new software features every three weeks. You will be able to influence the way we build and deploy services with web scale. You will be using the latest Java, Spring, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and similar tools to build necessary solutions. You will design, implement, and deliver maintainable, performant Java code for the Onshape SaaS platform. You can seek out problems to be solved and explore solutions to some of the hardest problems for delivery complex CAD applications in a distributed environment.
Your Team:
You will be part of the Onshape Platform team that is responsible for the underpinning of the Onshape product. The Platform team is responsible for building the highly scalable and robust platform on which the Onshape is based. You will be part of a mature, agile, data-driven engineering culture that encourages innovation, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
? 2 - 4 years of professional server-side development experience using Java
? Understanding of cloud infrastructure and operations to ensure the scalability and maintainability of cloud native applications in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
? Knowledge of Linux Operating System
? Deep understanding of distributed messaging systems, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB
? Experience with Spring framework is preferred Location:
? Pune, India
