We are a team dedicated to supporting DAZN content production flow and producing world-class programming. As a senior member of the team, you will actively support the team of technical assistants, keeping track of and organizing day-to-day operations and tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include post-production work, managing filming equipment, supporting live programming, taking leadership in testing, problem solving and new project workflows, and leading team training.
As a Senior TA, you will be required to understand the situation and take responsibility in cooperation with your teammates regarding each task required.
You will also be expected to make suggestions to improve workflow and other efficiencies in daily operations, strengthen cooperation with engineers in equipment management, and understand the differences between Japanese broadcasters and our company in order to achieve harmony.
You will also be actively involved in projects together with your line manager, building workflows using various resources based on your knowledge and experience, collaborating with other teams, and providing support by offering advice and ideas.
Technical Assistants are responsible for first-line support and management of editing equipment, format editing and quality control of delivered commercials, handling various post-production tasks such as conversions and deliveries, and managing content recording bookings.
Additionally, you will support production live tasks such as managing and maintaining filming equipment, supporting studio shows, virtual gallery operations, and highlight editing. This is a multi-skilled role that evolves to meet business needs.
Utilising innovative technology that evolves daily, we operate across multiple regions. This busy team works closely with various teams and third parties involved in live production and post-production to deliver high-quality content for our customers.

Support production team with first line support of post-production, live sessions and file-based workflows.
Assisting the preparation and setup of editing production suites.
Ensure quality control of digital media encodes and broadcast deliverables.
Support for filming operations, including management and maintenance of filming equipment rental and studio shooting.
Provide support on in-house live productions including studio, commentary and virtual gallery set-up and operation.
Keep track of daily status and be able to explain the situation when asked. Review and report monthly to the team.
Provide guidance to teammates to efficiently and reliably implement daily tasks, and make suggestions and improvements when necessary
Involved in all projects together with the line manager. Actively involved through workflow suggestions and support based on your experience and knowledge
When a problem arises, work with line managers and engineers to propose workarounds and corrections based on your experience. Understand the situation and properly explain, logging and share the information with the team and others when required.

3+ years of experience working in a post-production or media services environment required
Familiarity with the Japanese broadcasting industry and ability to communicate closely with stakeholders
3+ years of experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro editing software and cloud-based MAM systems with a confidence of workflows, video file formats and video and audio codecs.
Communication skills are essential in order to communicate technical and non-technical information well in and out of the team.
Basic understanding of networking
Confident using PCs and basic knowledge of Mac and Linux systems
Willingness to travel and work within our other locations if needed
Self-solving, analysis abilities
Self-motivated and a desire to learn in your free time during work hours
Interest in new technologies, take initiative and think on your feet
Excellent time management skills
Business level of Japanese both speaking and writing is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 is essential.
