Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Network Test Engineer to contribute to the integration, deployment, and testing of complex telecom solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in RAN technologies, mobile network testing, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate and deploy complex telecom solutions with a focus on RAN technologies.
Conduct end-to-end testing of mobile networks, including User Equipment (UE), eNodeB, gNodeB, and EPC/5G Core.
Test and validate 4G/5G features such as Handover, VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, and more.
Execute test cases, validate test results, and debug issues using system and tool logs to identify root causes.
Utilize tools such as QXDM, TM500, and Channel Emulators for testing and debugging.
Build simple and complex test setups to meet test case requirements.
Create test plans for 5G NR/4G features in compliance with 3GPP and ORAN standards.
Conduct performance testing for 4G/5G networks, analyzing KPIs such as throughput, latency, packet loss, and call quality.
Rapidly replicate customer configurations in lab environments to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in analyzing 5G NR message flows and parameters.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, VMware) and cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
Understanding of KPIs and performance metrics for network and device evaluation.
Added Advantages:
Passion for automation and framework development using Python and Robot Framework.
Exposure to tools like TM500, Amarisoft, Mobilium DsTest, or open-source test simulators.
Certifications in Kubernetes and familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
