years. This is also the case at Siemens Mobility GmbH – as a Senior Software
Developer (f/m/d), you will actively help shape and accompany a Siemens
Teamcenter transformation project. The project works according to the SAFe
methodology and aims to replace the current SAP PLM system with a modern
Teamcenter system for approximately 15 000 users.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer
– Teamcenter Dispatcher
You'll make a difference by:
You
are a Senior Software Developer in the Siemens Teamcenter transformation
project for the topic of "Dispatcher Framework"
Your
responsibility is the complete and consistent replacement of the existing SAP
conversion solution with the new Teamcenter solution in this area of expertise.
You
will analyze the business requirements, the existing conversion landscape (both
the legacy landscape implemented for SAP as well as the partially set-up new
landscape for Teamcenter) and translate this into an optimized set-up for
Teamcenter
You
are responsible for aligning the solution design with stakeholders like the
agile teams that provide the processual functionality of the system as well as
integrating the solution into the IT service for the system.
A
focus area of your work with the dispatcher is to harden and stabilize the
solution.
You
will be responsible for the dispatcher framework in the system and will be
responsible for the topic beyond the project period. This includes maintaining
and continuously optimizing the solution in the running service, e.g. by
solving errors and analyzing performance indicators.
As a
member of an agile, international team (SAFe methodology), you will work
closely with the product owner, the supplier's implementation experts and other
experts in the team as well as across teams. T5
You'll win us over by:
You
have a degree (Master's/Diploma) in computer science or a similar field of
study
4-8
years of in-depth experience in the field of Teamcenter and its dispatcher
framework, their design & development, as well as
configuration/customizing, ideally within large distributed system environments
You
have a deeper knowledge of prepare and load classes for Teamcenter Dispatcher
Ideally
you possess knowledge of if integrating external translators into Teamcenter
Dispatcher Framework
Good
knowledge of product development processes in the manufacturing industry is
desirable.
Ideally,
you also have experience in working in agile project teams
You
have a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working,
communication and teamwork skills
Good
understanding for solution creation for Teamcenter Dispatcher Framework using
JAVA customization
Very
good English skills are required due to the global orientation of the role,
with German language skills being an additional advantage
Highly
self-motivated.
