A Brief Overview
This position is responsible for advocating and implementing best practice systems, process, and programs for the organization. This position will deliver reporting that provides insight into employee experience and relations. The Senior People Operations Analyst works closely with the People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other internal departments to support HR operational processes to achieve business objectives. This role will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all Corporate HR activities, including operations, recruiting, compliance, HR programs, systems, and reporting.

What you will do
Evaluates existing workflow, processes, procedures, and programs and performs best practice benchmark gap analysis
Manages incoming workload and delegates work to analysts, serving as a guide and mentor
Collaborates with internal and external experts to document processes and work instructions
Facilitates training to ensure employees understand how to perform processes with accuracy
Leads project teams to implement system solutions
Assists in scoping out projects with short term vs. long term corporate goals in mind as well as customer impact, internal resource requirements, cross functional involvement, etc.
Provide prompt service to internal colleagues by responding to a wide array of inquiries via the HR Helpline or in person. Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate outstanding problem- solving skills.
Provide HR Business Operational Support to People Business Partners and Recruiters
Provide training and support to peers in designated functional area
Escalation and Subject Matter Expert for designated functional area
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company-specific policies and practices, benefits programs and offerings, and accompanying compliance requirements. 
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies
Administer human resource information systems and accompanying reporting
Administer the full employee life cycle; recruiting activities such as monitoring and clearing background checks; onboarding, development, retention and offboarding.
Support immigration and visa processing
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field; or equivalent work and education experience required 

Experience Qualifications
Typically 5+ years experience in a shared service HR model or combination of education and experience in a PEO environment required 

Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills – ability to write/output detailed processes and present information based on targeted audience 
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with knowledge of Oracle applications and databases such as PeopleSoft, and Taleo, etc. 
Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, benefits, employee relations, immigration, performance management, federal and state employment laws 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Ability to provide constructive feedback and work with peers in a positive manner 
Strong Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Word skills 
Strong acumen with systems, data, and reporting 
Professional demeanor; ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact 
Ability to work as part of a team; collaborative 
Ability to be flexible to accommodate business needs and work in a fast-paced environment 
Self-directed, with solid time management skills in terms of completing workload and approaching competing priorities 
Able to interact with employees at all level of the organization 
Strong conflict/mediation management skills 
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information 

Licenses and Certifications
Professional Human Resources certification (PHR) or equivalent preferred
