JR56258 Senior Payroll Analyst, Mexico
Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring outsourced Mexico payroll vendor processes semi-monthly payroll accurately and timely.
Responsible for ensuring Mexico tax and social insurance contributions are accurately calculated and paid according to statutory requirements and timelines.
Complete and timely submission of all payroll changes to outsourced vendor compiled from internal systems and partners (e.g. salary changes, one-time payments, employee master data changes, stock income, etc…)
Close collaboration with Sr. Manager, Payroll and other Finance and HR Global services colleagues
Bank clearance and approval for monthly payments.
Provide feedback to team for continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Communicate payroll changes to employees (e.g. changes in social insurance rates or assessment limits, changes in wage type taxability, etc…)
Resolve employees' queries through case management tool (ServiceNow).
Perform payroll process support for other countries as needed and assigned
Participate in continuing education to stay up to date on Mexico payroll legislative changes and best practices.
Payroll data reporting and audit support as needed.
Ad-hoc project support as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years payroll experience in a global payroll environment
Verbal and written English language communication skills a must.
Problem solving and customer service mindset.
Spanish language skills and/or Mexico payroll experience/knowledge advantageous and may make position remote work eligible.
Experience in Workday and ServiceNow advantageous.
Experience working in a multi-location global team advantageous.
