Role Purpose
DevOps Architect will be responsible for overseeing application deployment architecture in cloud platform environments (AWS, GCP or Azure). This role will include cloud adoption plans, cloud application design and monitoring.
You will be driving automation of multiple parts of infrastructure and deployments hosted on AWS, striving to improve and shorten deployment and test process to enable development and operations team to work smarter and faster with high quality.
Competencies

Should have 10-15yrs years of experience in Azure Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SRE, DevOps, Linux the infrastructure space including Cloud, On- prem & SRE functions
Good knowledge & hands on experience across multiple areas (at least 4 to 6 areas) like Cloud IaaS, PaaS services (Azure preferred), DevOps / infrastructure As Code tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GIT),SRE operations, server infrastructure (Linux, Windows), virtualization platform, network
Understanding of Operating Systems, Backups, Replication and High-Availability (HA)/SR.
Guiding the team technically & delivering Cloud and SRE Managed Services support engagements
Adept at creating high level & low-level design documents, Knowledge Base articles, driving service improvements & innovations
Experience in driving infrastructure automation, building DevOps & SRE capabilities in the team
Experience in managing/leading roles in several full cycle implementations including - Scoping and Planning, conceptual and detailed Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support
Experience in transition management & production support using ITL methodology
Strong experience in ITSM - Incident / Change / Problem / Configuration process
ITIL Foundation v3 preferred
Not a perfect fit?
Experience is needed in DevOps, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Strong knowledge of automating and orchestrating workloads on AWS, Infrastructure automation using Terraform and automating cloud services
Hands-on experience in scripting with bash, Groovy, Python, Terraform,
CI/ CD Management, CI/CD Automation pipelines
Manage the full release and operational process of Infrastructure as Code
Knowledge on container management platform like kubernetes etc
Extensive expertise in build management tools and technologies like Jenkins, maven and docker
Expertise in managing source code (SCM) using tools like Github, Gitlab, SVN etc
Experience in managing various repository management tools like Nexus etc
