Vodafone continues to invest in Cyber Security to mitigate its Cyber Risk. _VOIS is the Global Capability Center (GCC) of Vodafone in Egypt, Romania, India, and other locations. It provides various services to its business entities in various countries across the globe.
Within _VOIS, Cyber Security comprises of ~350 cyber security professionals in India (Pune, Bengaluru) and Romania (Bucharest). We work in collaboration with Vodafone's larger Cyber, Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure and other global and local teams. We are continuously looking for industry's top talent in Cyber Security to further grow our services.
Within _VOIS Cyber Security, we are broadly organised into 7 major services - Cyber Platform Engineering Services, Cyber Operations, Vulnerability Management, Technology Risk & Compliance, Secure by Design, Data Loss Prevention Alerts Monitoring & Triage and Cyber Security Testing Services. The Cyber Platform Engineering Services provide architecture, design, implementation, maintenance, and support for Cyber platforms.The Cyber Operations service delivers 24*7 real-time monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity incidents. The Vulnerability Management team ensures systems are up-to-date and secure against any known vulnerabilities. The Technology Risk and Compliance team assesses compliance against the regulatory, policies, standards, and baselines to reduce the risk. The Secure by Design team evaluates secure by design principles across the product lifecycle, right from the design phase to in-life solutions. The DLP Alerts Monitoring & Triage team monitors and triages Data Loss Prevention alerts to look for suspicious activities and protect sensitive data. The Cyber Security Testing service offers penetration testing, red teaming assessments and attack surface monitoring through proactive and reactive identification of system weaknesses, to evaluate, report and remediate potential security risk of any malicious exploitation.
Who you are
Role Purpose
Assists and advises the technical teams on the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle;
* Contributes to the transformation of the Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance and any related security projects to make sure controls are effective;
* Uses best practice knowledge to detect, identify and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities with an effective management of response plan across the security platform lifecycle;
* Understands transformation needs and supports to transform global security infrastructure management and deliver a consistent operating model that reduces security risk to Vodafone;
* Drives the delivery of cyber security improvements and projects in the market to make sure controls are effective and aligned to future security capability strategies and with strategic partners/vendors;
* Demonstrates solid communication skills to co-create, promote and enable Cyber Defence best practices across the market/s;
* Works effectively with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, Audit and Risk;
* May provide guidance to junior staff.
Accountabilities
Being committed to core agile methodologies and the frameworks that adhere to the SAFe principles.
Guiding Agile Teams in their adoption of Scrum and other Agile practices.
Offering delivery support, working alongside programme managers, engineers and technical leads.
Removing impediments that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
Facilitating team ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Ensuring that the Agile Team is focused on delivering value and meeting their commitments.
Responsible for being proactive supporting the squad to find time and space to reflect on and to improve team morale, and motivation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
Total experience of 10--12 yearswith a minimum of4 yearsof experience as ADM/SM across mixed software/implementation projects.
Must have experience of working in large organizations or global service providers across any industry having large/complex infrastructure.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification
An experienced Delivery Manager who is experienced in driving Agile delivery processes.
Experience with agile tools such as Azure DevOps
Strong data analytics and data visualization skills (PowerBI)
Understanding of cybersecurity principles is an advantage.
