Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
·Engineer will be responsible for configuration and management of the Load Balancers on daily basis.
·Engineer will workwith Application teams to build the required Load Balancing configuration as per defined standards.
·Performs as a high-level, Technical SME (subject matter expert) for the Load Balancing infrastructure at American Express.
·Has strong troubleshooting skills to resolve high-severity, business-impacting outages and incidents.
·Has responsibility for the technical direction of the platform(s)/applications within the supported portfolio.
·Expert level knowledge in networking protocols like TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP is required.
·Expert level experience with F5 Load Balancing iRules, HTTP profiles, SSL configurations and TCP profiles.
·Expert level knowledge in packet capture analysis.
·Expert level Knowledge of Application Delivery Controllers / Load Balancers and Global Traffic Managers such as F5, AVI etc.
·Experience in Virtualization system administration like VMware (ESXi) and Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure etc. is preferred.
·Works as Load Balancing architecture consultant to ensure Infrastructure configuration aligns to business and IT strategy.
·Experience in network automation using Python, Ansible, Puppet, etc., Netmiko, Rest API, JSON/XML
·Partners with the American Express Technology Application/Hosting teams in determining the best practical solution following enterprise standards.
Minimum Qualifications
·10+ years engineering experience in a global Data Centre environment in theIT industry.
·Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or significant experience
·Experience in design and implementation of Data Centre Network Infrastructure.
·Experience in Load Balancing products like F5, AVI etc.
·Experience with in depth problem solving, packet capture analysis, reporting and presentation to senior leaders and key partners.
·Experience in Application layer troubleshooting.
·Ability to lead, influence and drive direction to deliver innovated solutions that are advantageous to American Express with outstanding personal integrity and ability to build trust and collaborate across an organization.
