About this opportunity:
We are offering a chance to make your mark as a Software Engineer, working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software. This role presents the opportunity to understand high-level business problems and translate them into solutions aligned with use cases. As a Software Engineer at Ericsson, you will be essential in creating, modifying, and enhancing software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on tasks that can vary from fixing code errors, adapting code to new hardware, or upgrading the software's interface. Moreover, your job won't stop at coding - we'd rely on you for unit testing and deployment. What you will do:
• Requirement understanding of allocated demands. Propose task breakdown and estimates on timeline.
• Analysis and creation of solution overview
• Implementation of the planned tasks
• Set up review meetings with business stakeholders for demand progress and refinement.
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing and aim for high defect detection and removal in pre-production phases.
• Support business with UAT.
• Create package for deployment.
• Handover to Operations team to deploy to production.
The skills you bring:
• Experience: 5 to 9 years
• Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture
• Knowledge of quality processes and estimation techniques
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design and code complex programs in C# (.net core 6.0), ASP.Net, MVC, REST Services, SOAP web service.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces)
• Hands on experience in creating optimized database schemas, procedures, functions using Oracle PL SQL
• Strong experience with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning, and exposure to debugging and troubleshooting. (Similar skills in MSSQL database is also acceptable)
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate customer requirements and solutions
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Ability to analyse ambiguous technical and functional situations and to determine appropriate solutions.
